Good observation and great idea

coogeecouch is a piece of furniture made up of four modules which are intended to offer flexibility to the user in terms of shape and function. The studio says that its furniture adapts to the circumstances of life and rethinks furniture in a family context.

Organic curves and geometric shapes make up the coogeecouch and the four pieces fit together in different ways, adapting to create different versions of the couch. meetmy GmbH’s design means that children can also interact with the furniture and create something new themselves.

The shape of the cushions has been designed for comfort, offering two different support angles for the back. Special detail solutions, such as the invisible zippers, the reduced seams and the additional comfort padding of the foam are meant to contribute to the product experience, says the studio.

In partnership with coogeecouch is a furniture manufacturer from Westphalia (Germany), whose experience and craftsmanship, says meetmy GmbH, meant that the design concept was implemented without compromising functionality. The Italian upholstery fabric aims to provide a velvety look and feel, as well as making the product durable.

The studio founders’ aim was to create timeless and sustainable furniture, which in its form and function appeals to all family members equally.
